Washroom Cleaning Process | How to Clean a W.C?

W.C Cleaning Process?

Well Really, I have seen most of the people don't know the correct process of clean the W.C (western Combat) or Indian W.C.

The toilets and washrooms are an area where you will encounter a high level of bacteria. The warm, moist conditions found here are ideal for bacteria to multiply.

Type of Bacteria that are invisible to the naked eye but can cause various infections and diseases.

Clostridimperfringens
Clostridium difficile
Pseudomonas
Campylobacter
Salmonella
E-Coli
MRSA

Bacterial growth in the washroom - After six hours in a warm moist environment it is possible for one single bacterium to multiply to become 26k bacteria. Each single bacterium will also continue to grow at this rate!

You will need the following equipment to clean W.C–
  • Toilet Brush - 01
  • Duster - Red (Colour Coded - Washrooms are coded as Red Zone area)
  • Toilet Cleaning Agent and Netrual Detergent

Method :-
  • Ventilate area
  • Close toilet lid and flush (if Indian W.C then Pour 2 Buckets of water)

  • Use a toilet brush to push back water and reveal a normal water line
  • Apply toilet cleaner to bowl making sure you get right under the rim, agitate with the toilet brush and leave the brush in the bowl
  • Dwell time to be given (For detergent to Work on the applied structure)
  • Meanwhile proceed to damp-wipe the outside surface of WC
  • Scrub inside the WC bowl with toilet brush paying attention to water line and under the rim, remove all stains
  • Flush water again.
  • Dry and buff other surfaces with disposable towels, close lid.
